About the Journal
Cadernos de Atención Primaria is a scientific journal for Primary Care professionals in Galicia. It is published by the Galician Association of Family and Community Medicine (AGAMFEC) to divulgate scientific production in the field of Primary Care.
Its publication began in 1994, it is peer-reviewed since 2018. In 2023, we were included in IBECS (http://ibecs.iciii.es) which means the recognition of many professionals for many years. THANK YOU
We want to start a new stage and take a step forward, incorporating other Primary Care professionals, especially Community Nursing, and also colleagues from Portugal, so close and so far away.
A new stage also requires a change in the format and management of the journal. As for the format, we started in 2022 annual publicacion, and in 2025 biennal . In terms of management, we will use the OJS software, implementing an Open Access system.
We have many ambitions on the horizon, such as international indexation and SEO positioning.
