Title: Prevalence Pneumococcal Vaccination in BegonteObjective: To determine prevalence in target population and subsequent active vaccination control.Design: Retrospective observational descriptive study on a healthcare database created with the results of an intervention in the healthcare field.Location:Begonte Primary Care CenterMethod: Selection criteria. General population of a quota of the Begonte Primary Care Center, vaccination recommendations of the SERGAS instructions and the PAPPS 2022. Sample size: Patients 554. Variables: - Age- Sex (man/woman)- Correct vaccination prior to the study (yes/no)- Type of administration (center/home)- Notable comorbidities.Results: Main.Determine prevalence: 16% prior to study. 76.2% after the study prevalence and active recruitment.- Specific.Percentage of positive response to active recruitment via telephone from the AP: 456 had no previous vaccination, 327 people accepted vaccination (71% of those susceptible). Percentage of administration center / home: 95% administration at Primary Care Center.Determine whether there are differences in prevalence between sexes: no difference in vaccination prevalence between sexes or age groups. (gender -p-value 0.56- male 77% / female 75%) (age -p-value 0.8- >80 years 77% / 65-80 years 75% / <65 years 74%) Conclusions:A research study of outstanding practical character after analysis of the low prevalence and the need for immunization coverage, satisfactory response of the community to the action of health agents, with vaccination rates above the average of the country.
